La espera por fin ha terminado. Se anunciaron las nominaciones de la entrega número 78 de los premios Golden Globe que celebran las mejores producciones del año, así que ya empezamos a tachar las que vimos y las que nos están faltando.

Con una selección más que acertada, la categoría de película dramática incluye “The Father”, “Mank”, “Nomadland”, “Promising Young Woman” y “El Juicio De Los Siete De Chicago” (“The Trial of the Chicago 7”).

En terreno de comedia o musical, optaron por la secuela de Borat, la comedia de Amazon Prime Video Palm Springs, Music (dirigida por la cantante Sia), The Prom y Hamilton. Esta última formó parte de una serie de debates al tratarse de un musical de Broadway filmado en vivo. ¿Debería considerarse una película?

EMILY IN PARIS

A pesar de las malas críticas, Emily In Paris logró dos nominaciones como mejor actriz para Lily Collins y mejor serie de comedia y a la producción de Netflix se sumaron “The Flight Attendant” (con Kaley Cuoco), “The Great”, la multipremiada “Schitt’s Creek” y “Ted Lasso”. Para el género de drama regresaron los reconocimientos de siempre a “The Crown'', “The Mandalorian'' y “Ozark” mientras que “Lovecraft Country,” y “Ratched” entraron como dos de las apuestas más prometedoras del 2020.

El gigante de streaming domina la competencia con un total de 42 nominaciones entre cine y TV y le siguen Amazon con 10 y Hulu con 9.

La gala virtual estará presentada por las comediantes Tina Fey y Amy Poehler y el 28 de febrero por TNT sabremos quiénes serán los ganadores de los tan cotizados awards.
